CVS Trippin': $80.69 becomes $30.49

I haven't been to CVS to do a coupon run since November.  I've been jonesing for a trip.  So I said "screw it - let's go!"  Now granted, I didn't have any ECBs because I haven't been trippin' like I used to.  But I had to make a bank.  I hit up the Hingham Shipyard CVS and they were stocked with all the sale stuff.  They also had a TON of Blade stuff on 75% clearance - so if you want to smell like a frat boy - head on over to the Shipyard CVS.

So here goes it for today:

Total Before Savings:  $80.69
Coupons Used:  $19.48
Cash OOP:  $30.59
ECBs Earned:  $11.87

***Scanned my card and had $1 ECB and a $1 off deodorant coupon.***

ECBs Earned:  $8.00

Trip 1

Pack of Gummy Worms - .99

So in 9 weeks, I've gotten $510.79 worth of stuff for $41.22 cash out of pocket (and if you count the free gift card amount, that is $120.21).  That's either a savings of 91.93% or 76.46% depending on how you look at it by counting my "free $50 CVS gift cards from Discover".

Monday, September 19, 2011

CVS: $22.13 becomes $1.33

Total Before Savings:  $22.13
Total Coupons & ECBs Used:  $13.50
Cash OOP:  $1.33 (used free gift card from Discover)
ECBs Earned:  $6.24

2 Sensodyne Toothpastes - $4.89 each (used a $2.50/2 MFC from paper)  Earned $2 ECBs for each.

1 Crest Pro-Health - $3.99 ($1/1 MFC from paper) Earned $1.25 ECB.

1 Candy Corn - .99 cents.  Earned .99 ECB

Quick little roll of the ECBs this week.  Getting a pretty good little stockpile going.  I should take a picture but I'm not all organized and whatnot like the women of Extreme Couponing.  It's all just piled into a shelving unit in my attic.

So in 9 weeks, I've gotten $469.87 worth of stuff for $41.22 cash out of pocket (and if you count the free gift card amount, that is $105.58).  That's either a savings of 91.22% or 77.53% depending on how you look at it by counting my "free $50 CVS gift cards from Discover".  I still have a balance of $35.64 on my second free $50 CVS gift card.

One More CVS Trip Last Week - $51 becomes $13

No picture.  I did 2 quick CVS Trips last week to do the P&G Deal.  I couldn't get the Bounty paper towels so I doubled up on the Charmin.  I could have done the raincheck/ECB credit thing, but I didn't want to make it complicated for myself.  We'll use the extra butt paper.

Total Before Savings:  $50.97
Coupons & ECBs Used:  $19.79
Cash OOP:  $13.03
ECBs Earned:  $10.00

2 Charmin toilet papers - $9.99 each
4 Puffs Plus - $1.50 each

Spent $25.98, Earned $10 ECBs

2 Pretzel M&Ms - $3 each (2 $1/1 MFCs from paper) $2 each

-  I got my second $50 CVS gift card from my Discover Cashback Reward program. I still have enough rewards to score myself 2 more of these free gift cards.

- When I scanned my CVS card at the Coupon Center, out popped a $5 ECB - because I hit another $50 threshold of spending $50 on Beauty products. They count this amount pre-coupon and pre-ECB so I didn't actually spend $100 in the past 2 months on beauty items.

So in 8 weeks, I've gotten $447.74 worth of stuff for $41.22 cash out of pocket (and if you count the free gift card amount, that is $104.25).  That's either a savings of 90.79% or 76.71% depending on how you look at it by counting my "free $50 CVS gift cards from Discover".

CVS: $34 becomes .85 cents!

Total Before Savings:  $34.27
ECBs Used:  $15.99
Coupons Used:  $8.48
Cash OOP:  .85 cents
ECBs Earned:  $12.79

2 Dawn Hand Renewal 9.5 oz. - On sale for .99 cents this week.  Used 2 $1/1 MFCs from the paper, making both of these FREE!  Look at your coupons - you should have a .20/1 any Dawn Coupon and a $1/1 "Hand Renewal" Dawn coupon.  The "Hand Renewal" one DOES NOT specify a size.  It just has to be the "Hand Renewal" variety.

2 Colgate Optic White - $3.99 each.  Used 2 $1.50/1 MFCs, making these $2.49 each, but I also earned $3 ECBs by purchasing 2 of these.

1 Rephresh Tampons - $6.79.  Earned $6.79 ECBs with this purchase.

1 Soft Soap - $2.99.  Had no coupons.  Boo.  Earned $2 ECBs for buying 1.

1 Aussie Shampoo - $2.99.  Used a $1/1 MFC and earned $1 ECB.

1 Ritz Crackerful - $2.50.  Got a coupon at the Coupon Center for a FREE box, making this FREE!

So in 8 weeks, I've gotten $396.77 worth of stuff for $41.22 cash out of pocket (and if you count the free $50 gift card amount, that is $91.22).  That's either a savings of 89.61% or 77% depending on how you look at it by counting my "free $50 CVS gift card".  I have $12.79 in ECBs to play around with - I will most likely go back and do the P&G deal because we are running low on toilet paper & paper towels.  It's "Spend $25, get $10 ECBs".

Some notes/tips/other ramblings:

-  The "FREE" Ritz Crackerful coupon also said that I could get some Newton Fruit Thins too.  I couldn't find these in my store but they are in the ad.

-  Live in Weymouth or Hingham?  Well I've realized this a few months back.  I live near the CVS on Bridge Street in North Weymouth.  That's my "go-to" CVS store.  It's a 24 hour store.  A few months ago, they built a new CVS right over the bridge in Hingham at the Shipyard.  Ridiculous - since they are about 1/2 mile away from each other.  I kid you not if you aren't from around here - if you are driving down 3A it's like Dunkin' Donuts & CVS central.  I love both of those places though, so I'm not complaining.  The CVS in Hingham opens at 7am on Sunday and whenever I go there to do my ECB shopping - they are STOCKED with stuff.  North Weymouth, even if I go around 8am, is sometimes already sold out of the ECB items.  I don't know if it's because it's a 24 hour store so they have REAL crazies going at like 2 am to nab the ECB deals or what.  I have also done my CVSing at the Southern Artery Quincy store (which sells out of the sale items FAST) and the Rt. 18 CVS in Weymouth (kind of iffy on their sale/ECB stockage).

-  If you are new to the "drug store sale shopping frenzy" - my personal opinion is to pick a store and run with it.  I personally love CVS.  So I work their deals every week (obviously).  You will also find great deals at Rite-Aid & Walgreens if you know what you are doing.  I tried doing the Register Rewards at Walgreens about 2 years ago and it was such a bother for me that once redeemed, I was done.  I have a "Wellness Card" on my key ring for Rite-Aid, but I've never worked their sales.  I don't even read the Walgreens or Rite-Aid ads because I don't want to be tempted with them.  Some people do work all three - but I just find that if you stick with the one chain of your choice (factors being:  close proximity to your home/work & personal preference), you can really understand their program and work the sales each week and be stocked up sufficiently enough, and then some, for your family with hygiene products.  I'm overly confident in my understanding of CVS and how to spot the good deals that it really doesn't take me much time at all to make up my list and pump it out each week.  So if you pick one store and just learn how their program works, you can easily stock up on stuff each week just by going to that store once and using just the coupons from the newspapers.  I rarely print out coupons for CVSing.  In fact, in the past 8 weeks, I don't think I printed out a single coupon for CVS.  Between the Patriot Ledger and The Boston Globe, I get enough to work the sales each week.  Getting just The Boston Globe delivered on Sundays costs me about $14 a month and I get the Patriot Ledger delivered every day - and that costs me $8 a month.  I think that's going up to $8.55 a month, but that's fine by me.  I read these papers too - so I'm not just buying the coupons.  I like to read all about the drama on the South Shore - and call me old fashioned, but I just can't do it online.

CVS: $33 becomes $15 (and earned $15.99 in ECBs)

Not a "great" week at CVS - I mean for the cheapskates.  I kind of liked it because I scored myself some new fancy eye shadow.  Now I'll look like a pageant queen.  I'm also ready to take on my period head on and have no excuse to not have extra fresh breath.

Total Before Savings:  $33.01
Total Coupons & ECBs Used:  $13.23
Cash OOP:  $15.71 ($12.71 on gift card & $3 in cash)
ECBs Earned:  $15.99

When I scanned my card, I got a coupon for a free Milky Way.

2 Hershey's Air Delights - .99 (earn .99 ECBs WYB 1, Limit 1)  Had BOGO MFC, so paid .99 for 2, but earned .99 in ECBs.  It's like getting both for FREE!

2 Listerines - $2.99  (2 $1/1 MFCs from paper) $1.99 each, but earned $1 ECB a piece.

1 Physician's Formula Eye Shadow - $10.99 ($1/1 MFC from paper) $9.99, but I earned $7 ECBs for this purchase.

1 Carefree - $1.00 (.50/1 MFC from paper)  Paid .50 cents, but earned $1 ECB.

1 Excedrin Menstrual 20 ct (these are in the tampon isle) - $6.79 (.75/1 MFC from paper) Paid $6.04, but earned $5 ECBs.

This purchase wiped out my free $50 gift card from redeeming my Discover Cashback Bonus.  But I'm not worried - I have another one on the way!  Free money is good money.

So in 7 weeks, I've gotten $362.50 worth of stuff for $40.37 cash out of pocket (and if you count the free $50 gift card amount, that is $90.37).  That's either a savings of 88.8% or 75% depending on how you look at it.  Hoping to boost those numbers up the next few weeks since I now have $16 ECBs to play around with.

CVS - $26.66 becomes $0

I was gone all week on vacation - so I came home and had to do a quick CVS run because it's in my blood.  It just wasn't a good week for me in terms of rolling ECBs.  I'm now out of them and essentially have to "start over" with my ECBs.  In case you aren't into CVS or want to be:  The key to really saving is to just "roll your ECBs" - or what this means, is use your ECBs to buy things that generate more ECBs.

Total Before Savings:  $26.66
Coupons & ECBs Used:  $19.63
Cash OOP:  $0.00
ECBs Earned:  $0

1 Kleenex box (184 ct) - Clearanced at $1.77 ($1 off any Kleenex CVS coupon spit out at me at the Coupon Center) .77 cents

1 Fabric Bandages - $3.69 (Used "Free Bandages" coupon that spit out 2 weeks ago.  Even though it expired, my store took it since they've been out of stock forever).  FREE!

1 Dove Chocolate thing - Clearanced at .38 cents

1 1.5L CVS Mouth Wash - Reg. $5.49, Clearanced at $1.37 (exp. is 3/2013)

3 Hershey's Air Delight Bars - B2G1 Free sale, had BOGO Free MFC - so all three for $1.19 or about .40 cents each

1 woman's Dove Deodorant - $4.99  & 1 men's Dove Deodorant (found a special 2-for-1 pack) - $4.99 (used a "Buy a Dove woman's deodorant, get a men's deodorant for free" MFC - exp. 8/28)  So three things of deodorant for $4.99 or $1.66 each.

So in the past 5 weeks, I've gotten $218.38 worth of stuff for $37.37 (or $42.92 if you count my "free" money gift card - also known as a $50 gift card I got for CVS from cashing in some of my Discover Card points).

Monday, August 15, 2011

CVS: $22.83 becomes $5.55

Total Before Savings:  $22.83
Total Coupons & ECBs:  $13.00
Cash OOP:  $5.55
ECBs Earned:  $9.00

So I got to the store and scanned my card.  I got two coupons:  1 for a free box of CVS 20 count bandages and a free Caramello.  They were out of both.  I asked the store manager about it.  He said to just bring back the coupons next time when the products are in and they will honor them.  We'll see!  He was really nice about it.

-  4 Gatorade bite things - $1.50 each.  Earned $5 ECBs when you spend $5 or more on select Gatorade products.  These were the only ones they had left.

-  Sally Hanson Deal
2 Sally Hanson nail polishes - $3.29 each ($1/2 MFC from paper) $2.79 each
1 Sally Hanson Nail hardener - $3.49 ($1/1 MFC from paper) $2.49
"Spent" $8.07 but earned $4 in ECBs for spending more than $10 on Sally Hanson stuff

-  1 CVS Body Wash - $2.27 (used FREE product coupon from "liking" Minute Clinic on Facebook - this coupon took $3 off)

Used my $50 gift card I got for free from my Discover Card rewards (Got to love that cashback program!)

So in the past 4 weeks, I've gotten $191.72 worth of stuff for $37.37 (or $42.92 if you don't count my "free" money from that gift card).

Not really a great week for CVS - I'm sure next week will be a little better.

Sunday, August 7, 2011

CVS: $40 becomes $1

Total Before Savings:  $39.96
Coupons Used:  $6.00
Extra Care Bucks Used:  $15.99
Cash OOP:  $1.00
Extra Care Bucks Earned:  $8.00

When I walked in, I went to get my "Mystery Beauty Coupon" - it was $1 off any Maybelline product.  BUT!  I did get $5 Extra Care Bucks for apparently hitting $50 spent in beauty items.  If you haven't already registered your card to do it, pick up one of the coupons they have around the beauty items.  Pretty much, for every $50 you log buying beauty products, you get $5 ECBs.  I think you can only do this once - as my receipt says "Offer Limit Reached" on that.

I was going to do the Dove Deal - but my CVS was already sold out of all the shampoo and conditioners (there was a BOGO MFC in the paper recently).  No worries though.

3 Garnier Fructis Products (2 shampoos, 1 style product) - 3/$10 (Used 3 $1/1 MFCs from paper) $7 OOP, Earned $3 ECB

1 Hydro 3 Razor Refill - $8.49 ($2/1 MFC from paper today) $6.49 OOP, Earned $5 ECB

1 Treseme Blonde Shampoo - Reg. $5.49, Clearanced at $1.37 (used $1/1 MFC from paper) .37 cents.  I'm not blonde, but it's going in my donation stockpile.  For .37 cents, why not?

2 CVS brand TheraFlus (Cold season will be fast approaching here - exp. date on these was 2/13) - Reg. $4.99, Clearanced at $1.24 each.

1 Ludens Cough Drops - Reg. 2.37, Clearanced at .59 cents

Only paying $1 for $39.96 worth of stuff equals a savings of 97.5%.

So in the past three weeks, I've gotten $168.89 worth of stuff for $37.37.  A savings of 77.87%.

Sunday, July 31, 2011

2 Cover Girl NaturLux lip gloss - $7.49 ea (BOGO 50% off) $11.23 in total.  Had $5/1 Natural Lux MFC (expires today) so $6.23.
2 Cover Girl blushes - $5.29 ea (BOGO 50%) $7.93 in total.  Had 2 $1/1 MFCs from paper so $5.93.

After $3/$10, paid $9.16 for $25.56 worth of make-up.  I could have just done the two lip glosses - and it would have been $3.23 out-of-pocket with the $5/2 and $3/$10 - but I needed the blushes.

So in the past two weeks, I've gotten $128.93 worth of stuff for $36.37.  Hoping to keep my CVS streak up!

Sunday's CVS Trip

So I managed to get my butt in gear to start CVSing again.  I used to be kind of good at it.  I really have no excuse to NOT CVS - I have 4 of them within 3 miles of my house.  I should be able to get my butt there at least once a week to ECB it up.  I kind of stopped because my "stockpilie" was overwhelming - I say "stockpile" loosely because I really don't have a stockpile.  I just bombard my bathroom cabinets and small cabinet in my attic with things.  I can't deal with too much - but I like to have a couple extras of everything.

I was SUPER psyched when I scanned my CVS card today.  I got a CVS $1/1 Irish Spring Deodorant - that was on my list AND I had a $1/1 MFC already.  Then I got a $2 off any haircare purchase - which was a score because the Aussie stuff is 2/$4.97 - and there was just a $3/2 MFC - so I made .03 cents off 2 Aussie products.  Well here is what I ended up with:

Total Before Sales/Coupons:  $57.02
Total Coupons Used:  $16.00
Total CVS Savings:  $17.88
Cash OOP:  $23.14
ECBs Earned:  $15.00

1 Edge Shave Gel - $2.19 ($1/1 MFC from paper) $1.19
1 Skintimate Gel - $2.19 ($1/1 MFC from paper) $1.19

Spent $12.36, but earned $10 off my next purchase - Net:  $2.36

Irish Spring Deal (Buy 3, get $3 ECB)

2 Irish Spring bar soap - $2.79 ea ($1/2 MFC from paper) $2.29 each
1 Irish Spring Deodorant - $3.50 ($1/1 MFC from paper, $1/1 CVS Coupon from machine) $1.50

Spent $6.08, but earned $3 off my next purchase (and my husband will smell like a leprechaun).  Net:  $3.08

Kotex Tampons - $3.49, Used $1/1 MFC from paper - $2.49, but earned $2 ECBs.

FREE Aussie Products!

Most products were 2 for $4.97

1 Aussie Shampoo
1 Aussie Mousse

Used $3/2 MFC from paper (but it was worded weird - like save $3 on any Aussie styling product when you buy any other Aussie or Herbal Essence product - just say $3/2 you weirdo marketing people).

Used $2 off any Shampoo, Conditioner, Styling product CVS coupon that printed at machine.

MADE .03 cents off this purchase.

CVS Trip - $54 becomes $12 (with $14 ECBs & $9.99 MIR)

Total Before Savings:  $54.50
Total Coupons Used:  $8.50
ECBs Used:  $15.99 ($11 were expired!)
Cash OOP:  $12.17
ECBs Earned:  $14.00
Mail-In Rebate Coming:  $9.99

Net (made!):  -$11.82

This was just sort of "luck" for me.  I'm trying to get back into CVSing.

- 2 Listerine 1 liter - $5.49 ea, Sale $2.49 ea (this was not in the flyer - it says $3.00).  Used $3/2 CVS Coupon that spit out at Coupon Center last week and $1.50/2 MFC.  .49 cents for both bottles!  Or, .25 cents each!

- 2 Herbal Essences Mousses - 2/$5.97.  $1/2 MFC from paper Makes them $2.48 ea.  Earned $2 ECBs.

- SoftSoap/Irish Spring Deal

1 SoftSoap Body Wash - $3 ($1/1 MFC from paper), $2.00
2 SoftSoap Hand Soaps (I got the fancy ones since they were the same sale price as the regulars) - $2 ea ($1/2 MFC from paper), $1.50 each
4 Irish Spring 3-packs - $2 each ($1/2 MFC from paper) $7 or $1.75 ea

Paid $12 OOP, got $5 ECBs.  Net:  $7 - or $1 per item

- 1 Physicians Formula Mascara - Price tag said $10.99, rang up $9.99 (YIKES!  Flyer says "Buy $10 in PF products, get $7 ECBs).  I didn't say anything - figured I'd just return it or whatever.  SURPRISE!  $7 ECBs still printed!  Receipt says "Phys Formula, Spend 10 Get 7 EB, Amount toward reward:  $9.99, Amount needed:  0.01".  Not sure what happened - but glad the $7 printed!

***Also!  The Mascara I got had a little peelie that said "TRY ME FREE" - it's small and pink.  You can download the rebate form at http://www.physiciansformula.com/ and mail it in with receipt and the small pink tag (you must have the pink tag to get rebate).  This rebate is good all 2011 - but this is a great week to get in on this at CVS - since they are giving $7 ECB on any $10 Physicians Formula purchase.  You essentially "make" $7 on this product since PF will mail you back your $$.  Very nice!***

I hope this great trip boosts me back into the land of CVSing.  I've been in a dryspell there for about a year, year and a half.  Good luck at your CVS this week!

CVS Run

Started with $5 ECBs
Cash OOP:  $23.17
ECBs Earned:  $18.50

A great week to jump into CVS!  I've been "CVSing" for a few weeks - nothing too big, but it's been fun.  Here's tonight's trip:

CVS Trip! (2 Purex Laundry Detergents for a PENNY!)

Total Before Savings:  $18.02
Coupons Used:  $7.49
Cash OOP:  $1.94

2 Purex Laundry Detergents - CVS Sale (Buy 1, Get 1 for .01 @ $6.49 ea).  BOGO Free MFC from this week's Red Plum insert.  Cashier took off $6.49 so I got both for .01.

2 CVS Tissues - .99 ea ($1/2 CVS coupon that printed off at the machine there)  .49 cents ea

1 bag of cheapo jelly beans - .88

Things from this Trip:

-Note:  If you are buying the Purex, the cashier will scan both and BOTH will show $6.49.  DON'T SAY ANYTHING.  Give her/him your BOGO MFC and they'll take $6.49 off (or whatever the price is in your area).  When the cashier hits "Total", the register then automatically takes off $6.48 - making your total a whopping .01!

-  I miss CVSing like a loon but just don't have the energy in me to do it much anymore.  Hoping to get the drive this summer to stock up on products to donate to the food bank in the winter.  Can't let cheap things just sit there when someone can get use out of them!!!

2 BOTTLES OF PUREX FOR A PENNY AT CVS!

PUREX BOGO (From the Red Plum insert with the grocery ads in the mail) COUPON DOES WORK PERFECTLY AT CVS THIS WEEK!

What you do:  Buy 2 bottles of Purex and have that "Buy One, Get One Free" MFC that was in today's Red Plum insert.  Here's what will happen so you don't freak out that you don't see .01 when the second Purex rings up: (they both ring up at $6.49, the cashier takes off $6.49 from the MFC, then when she presses "Total", the computer takes off $6.48 for the "Buy 1, Get 1 for .01" Sale CVS is having this week).

Verdict: Take that BOGO Purex coupon to CVS from now until Saturday night and score 2 bottles of laundry detergent for a PENNY! Woot Woot!

CVS, Walmart & Roxie's - Oh My!

We hit up a few stores the past few days for things we ran out of.  Then I kind of went on a baking supply shopping spree.  I'll have cookies coming out of my ears this year.

Trip 1 - CVS

1 Half & Half - $3.29
Total - $3.29

I told the husband to pick some up on his way home from work.  That's what he got.

Trip 2 - Walmart

1 Crisco - $4.54
5 lbs Sugar - $2.24
Total - $6.78

Trip 3 - Another Walmart

4 Nestle Morsels - $1.78 ea
2 Libby Pumpkins - $1.37 ea
2 Eagle Sweetened Condensed Milk - $1.50 ea
1 Argo Corn Starch - $1.27
1 Jet-Puffed Mini Marshmellows - $1.34
Powdered Sugar - $1.50
Pine Room Spray - $2.00
Friehoffer's Bread - $1.97
1 Reynold's Parchment Paper - $2.84 ($1/1 MFC from paper) $1.84

Total - $22.78

- I went to Walmart on my way to Roxie's to get Corn Starch, Parchment Paper and Powdered Sugar.  What I found is that have some wicked cheap baking stuff.  So I went a little crazy.  I really don't shop at Walmart for groceries because, well I just don't.  I have 2 Walmarts near me.  One is small and their grocery department isn't that big (it's seriously one of the smallest Walmarts I have ever been in).  The bigger one is always busy.  It's just not worth it to go there (plus, it can be a little scary at times). I went at 8:30 am, it was dead, and I regretted not bringing my coupons.

Trip 4- Roxie's

Boneless, Skinless Chicken Thigh Filets - $2.31
2 lbs Carrots - .89
Half a Butternut Squash - .74
2.2 lbs Family Pack Steak - $9.45
3.4 lbs Chuck Roast - $9.88
2 Plumrose Bacon - $1.99 ea
5 lbs Potatoes - $1.49
1 stray kitten who wanted to attack my meat - $200 at the MSPCA

Total (minus cat) - $28.74

CVS Glade Money Maker for Me

I went to CVS.  I made money on the Glade deal.  You can probably get 4 refills for free.  Here is what happened:

1 Glade Sense & Spray - $6 ($4/1 MFC from paper, $2 peelie on pack - cashier scanned both) FREE
1 Glade Sense & Spray Refill - $3 ($1/1 MFC from paper) $2
1 Glade Scented Oil Refill - $3 ($2/1 peelie on pack) $1

Total OOP:  $3
ECBs Earned:  $4
Money Maker of $1

The scented oils (French Vanilla & Apple Cinnamon) in my store had $2/1 peelies on them.  So if you buy 4 of them, you'll pay $4 OOP but you'll get $4 ECBs back.  Not sure if all the CVSs have the scented oil refills with $2 peelies on them...

"Wasting" ExtraCare Bucks...

Total Before Savings:  $19.56
Total Coupons Used:  $2.00
Total ECBs Used:  $10.00
Cash OOP:  $2.56

1 CVS Sleep Diaper things - Clearance for $4.99
1 CVS Toddler Wipe Container - $2.49
2 CVS Toddler Wipe Refills - $3.49 ea.

I had $10 ECBs that expired in 2 days.  There was just nothing at CVS I really needed or wanted.  I tried to score some cheap Halloween stuff for next year but there was just garbage left.  So I stocked up on Toddler Wipes.  Oh how exciting.  When I went in and scanned my card, I got a $2 off $10 CVS purchase.  At least it's something.  I'm so blah with CVS lately.

The other day, I took my 3 year-old to CVS to get his flu shot.  My pediatrician only gave it to my 2 year-old.  It's a long, stupid story as to why he wouldn't give my 3 year-old one, so I just CVSed Minute Cliniced it up.  Of course we had to get treats there after....

1 bag of Doritos - $2.00 (for me!)
1 20 oz. soda - $1.59
1 Tootsie Pop Bunch - .50
1 Halloween lollipop strip - .99

Cash OOP:  $5.13
