I got this cookbook about 11 years ago. I love it. About a year ago, it finally just fell apart. My cheap self just duct taped it. Guess what? The cookbook still works just as well as it did before. I didn't need a new one. Does it look ghetto? Sure! But look at me! I have no shame (but I am about $15 richer because I didn't go out and buy a new one).
Moral of this Saving Money Challenge? Try to fix before you replace!
