A little while ago, Wendy at Simple Thrift shouted out for guest bloggers. I guess I jumped at the chance because it seemed like a great idea. But then I had zero inspiration and my mind drew blanks for days. Why? I don't know! I enjoy writing my stupid blog posts but heavens, I was a little nervous to actually write something serious for someone else. It was bizarre and foreign to me. Writing and the English language have never been my strong point.
Well, thanks to English 101 at Keene State College, I was able to pull off something. Wendy posted it (so it couldn't have been THAT bad!). Check it out HERE! It's called "Teaching Our Young Kids To Be Thrifty By Example". Simple Thrift is a great blog! Wendy posts great challenges and ways to be thrifty. She is also doing The 2009 Fabulous Food Network Magazine Challenge!
Wendy is a mother of 6 (yes, 6!!) out of New Hampshire. She is a journalist and has a column in The Nashua Telegraph called "Simple Thrift."

Great job. My daughter is 4 and anytime we go to the store before she asks me if she can buy something she always asks, "Mama do you have a coupon for this?" since she knows that will increase her chance of getting it!
