I was slaving away in the kitchen and outside last night - decided to make cheeseburgers for dinner. Like with real raw beef and schlapping them together myself. But as I started preparing - I realized that I didn't have slices of cheese or hamburger buns - which, last time I checked, are key ingredients in cheeseburger making. I usually don't think dinner through thoroughly. So I called the husband as he was on his way home from work and told him to pick up cheese, buns and milk. He spent $10.47. Not sure where the receipt is (probably at the bottom of the trash can outside Shaw's) or if anything was on sale. I have to give myself some mad props - I haven't sent the husband out to grab groceries since way before the first of the year. I think he might have forgotten what a grocery store looks like.
He didn't have my Shaw's gift card - actually, I don't even think he knows I bought it. So I'm saying $10.47 with nothing saved.
