Saving Money Challenge: Measure your Laundry Detergent!

Sounds simple, right?  Not for people like me.  When I'm "rushing" to throw in a load of laundry (why I'm rushing is beyond me...), I usually just fill the cap:


This looks about right - just fill er up!  But I actually read and looked at my laundry detergent and realized for a large load, you really only need this:



That's like 2/3 of a cap full.  Yep.  Line 3 is for a large load (at least on this bottle of Wisk I'm sporting this week).  

I've probably wasted many a laundry detergent in the past years.  I know this and I know the right way to do it - so I'm making a more conscious effort to actually measure the stuff.

I have always used less than 1/2 what they say to use. Our clothes get clean and I get more loads out of a bottle.
