Pyrex 13X9 glass dish with lid - Reg. $12.99, Sale $6.49
Notable tips from this trip:
- It seemed that all Pyrex glassware was 50% off! It's getting discontinued at the Hingham Stop & Shop. I actually broke my 13X9 dish about 2 weeks ago so this was a great find for me. Really nice Corningware was also 50% off.
- The Bic razors are a great deal - they are 20% off and the $3/1 coupon was just in this past week's insert.
- My husband really digs deli meat and "fancy" rolls for lunch. These cost me about $17. Since he is the bread winner, I let him eat what he wants on occassion. Deli meat is way too expensive at the grocery stores - but I didn't feel like trucking it over to BJ's to save a few bucks.
- Scored a milk & cereal container for 50% off ($2.49). My husband brings breakfast to work every day so this is a nice handy dandy contraption for him. A lot of 50% off food storage items in the Paper Towel isle.
- Scored .40 cents off my order for using reusable bags. I'm getting really good at actually remembering them at every trip. Mostly because I don't like dealing with plastic bags - we probably have over 1,000 of them stored at my house. They make good bathroom garbage bags & kitty litter waste bags though.
- OH! Bought a Jimmy Fund ticket. It was not a winner - I got $2 off Hertz Flea Treatment or something like that. It's like the one product I have absolutely no use for. At least the money goes to a good cause.
- Also - I didn't use a single coupon printed from the internet. I guess I'm kind of old school or am too lazy to print them out at times - but I find a ton of great coupons in the paper, in All You and on products themselves. I pay $13 a month to get the Boston Globe delivered to me on Sundays - and I think it's well worth it. Plus, I really dig reading the Boston Globe Magazine. It makes me feel all sophisticated and stuff to say that.
