So apparently Katy at Happily Average is a psychic. She guessed $90 for Tom and $140 for Ben. I cashed in the coins and here's how the boys did:
Tom (18 monther) - $91.91 that was put on an Old Navy Gift card
Ben (3 years) - $142.24 that was put on a Lowe's Ecertificate
They were out of CVS cards!! BOO!! Also in my change extravaganza, I came across the following:
Canadian Money - $29.32 = $23.05 USD
Japanese Money - 1000 Yen = $10.10 USD
So $33.15 USD in foreign currency laying around this place! The last time we went to Canada was in 2004 when we hit up Vancouver, British Columbia for a weekend. Then I spent a week in Tokyo also in 2004...so for over 5 years, I've just had this in my possession!
All in all, $267.30 laying around our house! The moral of this story? Cash in your kids' piggy banks before they realize the value of a dollar! You might be surprised at how much they got! ;)

Neko has over $60 in Canadian money that she got as gifts from our Canadian relatives. She also has 1000 Yen that she got trick or treating at PWC.
Coinstar takes foreign money?
Dang, Katy is good! And I was way, way off. Sadness.
I have a special cyber counting ability. :)
Coinstar does not take foreign money. I know banks in WA and NH would cash it in for your but we're further away from the boarder now. I might have James bring it in town and go to a foreign currency exchange place there.
