Household Cleaners - A Reality Check!

I cleaned out my sink cabinet today for fun.  It dawned on me while doing so that I think I can go all of 2009 (and 2010, and possibly 2011) without buying many cleaning products.  Besides trash bags, dish soap and sponges, I'm very well stocked.  I even have a milk crate in the basement with some stuff but I'm just not even going to go there yet.  This will help keep my coupon stash more organized if I stop clipping the cleaning product stuff.

I have 7 spray cleaners (plus 3 in the bathroom and who knows how many in the basement)
2 Pledges
6 containers of dish soap (will go quickly - I don't even remember the last time I bought dish soap!)
A Resolve
Murphy's Oil
A bunch of Swiffer products
And a bunch of other stuff that I don't feel like typing out.

Well I better go clean to use up all this stuff.  I really wonder how long it will take me to use up every last bit of cleaner.  Hummm....I'm slowly turning into one of those weirdo hoarding old ladies who needs an intervention from a talk show!

Some of your posts crack me up! I am all set on cleaners as well. I just need laundry detergent which I have about 10-15 of now. Sadly we will probably use all of it within the next 6 months. Its a great feeling of having to avoid buying them :)
