Coupons at the Dollar Tree - Do you do it?

The Dollar Tree has recently promoted it's coupon policy a lot.  At least in my neighborhood store.

IN-STORE COUPON ACCEPTANCE: GUIDELINES & LIMITATIONS

1. Only original and intact manufacturers’ coupons will be accepted. Retailer-specific coupons will not be accepted.
2. Coupons are void if copied, scanned, or if they have been altered in any way.
3. Only two (2) print-at-home Internet coupons may be redeemed per transaction.
4. We are unable to accept coupons for “Free” items with no purchase requirements or where the amount for the product is blank.
5. Coupons can only be used in stores and must be presented at time of purchase. Coupons cannot be redeemed for cash at a later time.
6. Coupons will not be accepted without the purchase of the item specified and are subject to the terms listed (e.g. expiration date, size, limitations, quantity, etc.).
7. Coupons cannot be redeemed for more than the purchase price of the item.
8. Only one (1) manufacturer’s coupon will be accepted per item.
9. Management has the right to refuse any coupon or otherwise limit quantities.

I'm Cheap, but not THAT Cheap (Dollar Tree Steak)

Even I have my limits people.  I will not ever buy steak at the Dollar Tree.  I will buy greeting cards.  I will buy plastic forks.  I will buy cheap toys.  But I will not, no never, buy steak from the Dollar Tree.  

I guess we're a classy breed down here in Weymouth, MA because not every Dollar Tree is fortunate enough to stock steaks.  I didn't get a chance to check out said steak.  I want to.  Maybe that can be a follow up post.  

The steak is advertised as being 3.5 ounces.  So I guess if you do the math - that's about $4.50/lbs.  I've bought cheap steak like that before - but there is just an element of "Dollar Tree" steak that is really skanky and stuff.  Are you brave enough to buy steak at the Dollar Tree?  God Bless You.

BOGO Free Hallmark Card!

I just got an email with a coupon for a free Hallmark Card when you buy a Hallmark card (up to $2.50).  So if that interests you, you might want to check your email.  If you don't get emails from Hallmark and want to, well go to their site and sign up!  Duh!

I have a little hint for you though:  Cards are only .50 cents each at the Dollar Tree.  Holla For the Dolla!
